Therefore, our Social Service Interventions are central to every Tshepong Program in order to give support and encouragement to families, while ensuring that their basic needs are met. Through hands-on relationships we hope to support our community in their efforts to break their cycle of poverty, and turn it into a cycle of Hope, Life and Vision for the future.
The Tshepong ECD (Early Childhood Development) Centre was established in 2011, when a local creche in Raphuti struggled to meet the needs of the young children in our rural community. Tshepong Children's Project provided support and assistance to this creche and it is currently the official site office of the organisation, while providing educational and developmental interventions as the only ECD Centre of its kind within our area of service delivery (rural and otherwise).
Our Tshepong Child and Youth Development Programs are of great importance, as we hope to mentor and influence the many children and youth in our community toward a brighter future. Daily interaction with our children and youth have a great impact in their lives! One word, one smile or one hug can create hope and encouragement.
