Child & youth Development Program

Our Tshepong Child and Youth Development Programs are of great importance, as we hope to mentor and influence the many children and youth in our community toward a brighter future. Daily interaction with our children and youth have a great impact in their lives! One word, one smile or one hug can create hope and encouragement.

One of the first programs launched by Tshepong Children's Project in 2008 was the DIC (Drop-in-Centre) program that aims to assist children after school with their home work and recreational activities. Since then our focus has adapted to meet the various needs of this age group, and many new extensions to the DIC program have been developed. All of these programs include a nutritional lunch meal or snack to support healthy physical development.
