Problem Statement
In our rural community we see the following in our children & youth:
- The lack of motivation, drive & encouragement to pursue a brighter future.
- They are idle in their attitudes and actions.
- They have many educational & developmental needs.
- The lack of daily nutritional support.
Cause
- The Illiteracy of primary caregivers in rural communities.
- The socio-economic environment children and their families are exposed to in rural communities (lack of opportunities for income).
- The lack of mentorship, positive influences & role models.
- The lack of exposure to informative & educational support structures within an uplifting and fun environment that they share with their peers.
- Target Group:
- Children & Youth from 6 - 21 years permitted they are still in school.
Impact & Achievement
- Youth become community leaders, role models and mentors within their own community.
- Children finish school and matriculate.
- Young adults take hold of opportunities that can open doors to a brighter future.
Activities
